PRIVACY & MEASUREMENT
Your data. Your choices.
ECU Guide collects your name, email, account password hash, registration details and launch-notification consent to manage your account and requested launch email. Sales have not opened. No payment details are collected.
Essential account cookies
First-party session cookies protect forms and keep you signed in. They also remember your privacy choices. These are separate from permission to receive the launch email and coupon.
Optional site analytics
If you allow analytics, we record page views, offer clicks, form starts, a random session identifier, broad device type and campaign labels. These help measure the registration journey. We do not include form contents, names, email addresses or passwords in browsing events. Event-level analytics are retained for up to 400 days.
Optional Meta ad measurement
If you allow ad measurement, Meta Pixel and Conversions API share page activity and completed pre-registrations with Meta Platforms. For a completed registration, the server may send a hashed email address, IP address, browser information and Meta identifiers to match advertising results. Hashing does not make this information anonymous. Passwords, ECU files and vehicle logs are never sent to Meta. A pre-registration is recorded as CompleteRegistration, not as a purchase.
Meta uses the information under its privacy policy. You can refuse optional tracking and still register. We respect the browser's Global Privacy Control signal by turning off Meta ad measurement.
Change your preferences
Use the “Privacy choices” button to change analytics and advertising permission. Withdrawing permission stops future collection through those optional features; it does not undo events already delivered. Pending server events associated with your current session are cancelled where possible.
Account and launch notifications
Use your registration confirmation page to leave the launch notification list. Contact support@ecuguide.com for questions or requests to access or remove account data. Repeating your email on the form checks spelling; it does not verify ownership of that address.
